Legacy has taken the in-wall speaker to the next level. The HARMONY HD is a full range speaker delivering the performance of a tower while neatly inset into the wall. With the rear enclosure fitted between standard wall stud spacing, the HARMONY HD rests on vibration absorbing blocks with a clever mounting scheme. The handsome decorative fascia conceals the drywall opening. The HARMONY HD is available in a matching horizontal center channel version.
Harmony Center HD uses the same driver array found in the Harmony HD, with a horizontally optimized cabinet that literally straddles wall studs on 16” centers. The intricately designed enclosure couples the internal chambers to maximize cubic air displacement and features an ingenious (and patented) shock mounting scheme.
Harmony is an in-wall speaker system that sounds like a full range, free-standing tower. The problems with in-walls are numerous; plastic locking ears that don’t lock, crumbling and vibrating drywall and weak bass due to small rear enclosures. Legacy has solved these problems in the Harmony HD.
Deco is a more compact version of Phantom, but in a direct firing version. The angled shape gives the appearance of a wall sconce (optional lighting puck kits are available) but actually directs the sound to the listeners. Our spiral ribbon assures the airy highs that are pure Legacy. Great as front, side or rear channels, combine with the Cinema HD center for a killer system at a modest price.
The role of the surround speaker is to create a convincing, continuous envelopment for each listener, without introducing distractions such as bright spots, dead zones, or timbre imbalance.
