California Audio Show 2010 Part II

The California Audio Show is up and running!

Despite initial DC power hum on the 14th floor- a switch to a solid state preamp and tweaks from designer Bill Dudleston snapped the system into place.

By the afternoon, the Whisper system was sounding top notch, and the crowds had arrived.

Early stand-out reviews came from:

DAGOGO’s Constantine Soo- spent an hour listening to the Whispers via his iPod and Wadia convertor- giving the system two thumbs up.

John Curl (renowned engineer, designer of the Mark Levinson JC-2 preamp, and more)- sent kudos to Bill on the Whisper speakers.

There's more on the way!

Acoustic Ave. Studio

I want give everyone an insight into the Acoustic Ave. Recording Studio.  This is the on site recording studio here at Legacy Audio.
The Studio has been filled with artists under the direction of in house music producer and songwriter Jim Thompson.  Using microphones from Neumann, AKG, Lawson and more, the studio is fueled by a 64-bit mix engine, allowing the music to be faithfully recorded and mixed through our robust and detailed Helix system.

We have recently recorded Damien Kaplan’s “Behind the Drums”, Daniel LeMay’s performance of “Stop This Train”, and Kate Johnson performing Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” Add a comment
